Dentures can be expensive, and they are made to last. However, accidents happen, and your dentures may get broken. This can be devastating!
For this reason, we are excited to be able to repair dentures. We have the ability to repair both partial and full dentures. Partial dentures can often be reinforced with metal or fiber mesh to give them the support they need to stay together.
There are also times when the teeth in your dentures become damaged. We can easily repair or replace teeth on your dentures so you can once again be proud of your smile.
Sometimes a denture repair is not so simple. We will do everything we can do to repair your dentures so you don’t have to buy new ones. Even if your dentures break in half (or more pieces), we are dedicated to repairing your dentures.
If you have any questions about denture repair or need yours fixed, feel free to contact us today at (828) 225-3280.

Denture Partials
A removable partial denture is an optimal solution for patients who may be missing one or more teeth in a particular area of their mouth. Removable partial dentures are attached to a gum-colored base which may have a metal framework that helps to hold it in place against the surrounding teeth. These dentures serve to replace missing teeth, restore functionality, and generally improve oral health. When a tooth is lost, and the gap isn’t immediately filled, it can lead to the neighboring teeth to shift; this can create a significant change in your bite and can even cause long-term damage to your gums and jaw bone.
To begin treatment, we will determine if removable partial dentures are the best option for you. Factors such as oral hygiene, the location of the missing tooth gap(s), bone strength, and long-term viability for dentures all determine your treatment plan. Our team will start by taking dental impressions of your teeth which will serve as the mold used to create your dentures. Next, we will review the size, shape, and coloring of each replacement tooth to recreate your natural smile. Once these are determined, we send the molds to a dental lab which creates a mock-up partial denture for you.
During a fitting appointment with our team, we will have you test out the mock-ups to check how they fit, look, and feel in your mouth. This is the time you and our team will make adjustments to the fit or color of the teeth before sending the mock-ups back to the lab for alterations. Remember, your absolute honesty is needed as your feedback shapes the final removable partial denture you will be receiving. Once the final changes have been made to the mock-up, the lab will custom build your dentures. After we receive the final design, your last fitting session will be to make small adjustments for comfort, bite, or fit which can all be made in-house by our team.

Crowns & Bridges
Getting porcelain crowns is the best way to have a very natural looking smile. They are used when simply filling in a tooth is not an option. There are times when they decay is so bad that we just have to use a porcelain crown. We also use them with severely damaged teeth or teeth that have already had multiple fillings. Porcelain crowns are attached right to your teeth so that they can function, even when you bite something really hard! There are several types of porcelain crowns so it is important to discuss which type is best for you with your dentist.
When your teeth are missing, it greatly affects your smile. At the same time, the missing tooth has the potential to negatively affect your oral hygiene because of unprotected gum exposure. Dental bridges are one of many options aimed at improving the appearance and function of your teeth by replacing the missing tooth or teeth. During your exam, we will discuss whether or not dental bridges are right for you.

Immediate Dentures
An immediate denture is a complete denture inserted on the same day, immediately following the removal of natural teeth. The fabrication phase begins few days before and consists of impressions, bite records, tooth selection and try-in of the teeth. On the day of delivery, you will be seen in oral surgery for extraction of the appropriate teeth, followed immediately by the insertion of the immediate denture. There are several advantages of an immediate denture. The most important factor is that you will never need to appear in public without teeth. When an immediate denture is inserted at the time of extraction, it will act as a Band-Aid to protect the tissues and reduce bleeding. An immediate denture will allow you to establish your speech patterns early. You will not have to learn to speak without a denture in place and then later relearn to speak with a new denture. An immediate denture will also allow you to chew better than without any teeth and minimize facial distortion that may occur when teeth are removed.
An immediate denture does not always fit as accurately as a final denture, which is made after the tissues have healed for six to 12 weeks following extractions. But you can always reline it to save it as a spare set of denture.
